What Makes Her Want to See the Globe: I'm naturally a curious person. The more I learn and travel, the more I want to learn and travel. I love immersing myself into different cultures. I spent two months in Tanzania, and it was the best time of my life. I learned a lot of the language (Swahili), customs and culture. By the time I had to leave, it started to feel like home. I also believe traveling gives you perspective. I feel like I've become a more open-minded, understanding and patient person through my travels.
Ultimate Bucket List Trip: I'm dying to get to the Maldives and Seychelles, but any trip for me is crossing it off my bucket list. I love going places I've never been before.
Best Way to Maximize Vacation Days: In my opinion, the best way to maximize vacation days is to combine them with weekends and holidays when you're already off. It's a great way to extend your trip without actually taking additional time off. Also, if your employer offers telework, you can work from home while still being able to travel without taking any time off.
Advice for Those Who Want to Travel More: This may sound cliche, but there's nothing to it but to do it. Stop making excuses. People find ways to do things they want to do. If you want to travel — research, save and spend. It's really that simple. And don't be afraid to take chances. You see a cheap flight for somewhere you've never been but interested in going? Buy it and figure out the details later.
